Starkville, MS (October 6, 2021) – At 9:45 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, October 6, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Russell Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hurt in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, the outside lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time.
