Starkville, MS (September 28, 2021) – At 5:23 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, September 28, a car accident with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened at 604 Whitfield Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result. They had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
