Madison, MS (November 19, 2021) – Around 8:00 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, November 18, a car crash with injuries was reported in Madison.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Rasco Road and US-51. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
