Vicksburg, MS (November 16, 2021) – On Tuesday, November 16, an injury accident took place at an intersection in Vicksburg.
According to Warren County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Allen Station Road and US-61. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other local Warren County responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
