Starkville, MS (November 24, 2021) – On Sunday, November 21, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection around 4:05 p.m.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of George Perry Street and MS-182. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were taken to local hospitals by ambulance for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
