Oxford, MS (November 30, 2021) – At 5:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 30, a car crash with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 1106 Van Buren Avenue around the area of the local Hemline store. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
