Oxford, MS (December 29, 2021) – At 5:20 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, December 29, a car accident with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at 107 Courthouse Square near City Hall. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
