Oxford, MS (January 1, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the Oxford area on Friday evening, December 31, ended in injuries. At around 11:22 p.m., the Oxford Police Department was notified that a crash on Access Road required assistance.
Crews rushed to the scene to find damaged vehicles blocking the roadway in the area of 1131 Access Road. The incident prompted crews to close off a portion of the road as they removed damaged vehicles and debris.
At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway with the police in Oxford.
