Horn Lake, MS (January 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash at an intersection in Horn Lake on Friday, January 7 in the afternoon hours.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials confirmed that the crash happened at the intersection of MS-302 and Interstate Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The involved vehicles were damaged as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. Several people involved in the accident sustained injuries. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the intersection was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
