Pedestrian Accidents in Mississippi
Pedestrian accidents do not happen as commonly as other accidents on our roads in Mississippi. However, when they do occur, they tend to lead to some of the most catastrophic harm. In 2018, it was reported that approximately 13% of car accident deaths involved pedestrians. On top of this, hundreds of victims are severely injured in pedestrian accidents every year within the state. These accidents can typically be prevented but drivers are not always paying close attention to the roads around them. If you have sustained injuries as a result of a pedestrian accident, you may be feeling alone and confused. You should be prepared to speak with an attorney that you can trust at this time.
There are many hazards to pedestrians on our roads, which means that these accidents will continue to happen on our roads. Many pedestrians believe that drivers are watching out for their well-being at all times but this is not always the case. This means that pedestrian accidents can occur in the blink of an eye, causing immense harm to those involved. The truth is, drivers are typically found to be at fault for pedestrian accidents. Because of this, they should be held liable for the harm that they cause. It is crucial that you have the help of an experienced and knowledgeable Shannon personal injury attorney on your side.
