Starkville, MS (January 25, 2022) – On Tuesday afternoon, January 25, injuries were reported in a serious car crash that took place in Starkville.
Starkville officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Louisville Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed away from the scene.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
