Vicksburg, MS (February 13, 2022) – Around 3 p.m. on Friday, February 11, a two-vehicle accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Vicksburg.
According to local officials, the accident happened on Fisher Ferry Road around the area of Sports Force Park. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims allegedly sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police cleared the scene. Police urged those in the area to use caution.
