Oxford, MS (February 14, 2022) – On Monday morning, February 14, a car accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
Oxford Police confirmed that the collision happened around 10:50 a.m. on College Hill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims allegedly suffered from harm in the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
