Horn Lake, MS (February 19, 2022) – On Saturday, February 19, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Horn Lake.
According to officials, the accident happened in the evening hours at the intersection of US-51 and Nail Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues. Police will update with more information as it becomes available.
