Oxford, MS (February 20, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, February 20, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Heritage Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured due to the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
