Oxford, MS (February 22, 2022) – Around 4:20 p.m. on Monday afternoon, February 21, an injury accident happened in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 2002 Oxford Way in front of the Domain Apartments. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time.
