Oxford, MS (March 8, 2022) – On Tuesday afternoon, March 8, a car accident took place on a roadway in Oxford that led to injuries.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at 3:05 p.m. at 3043 Davis Drive. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, causing them to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries due to the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
