Oxford, MS (March 14, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a roadway in Oxford on Sunday night, March 13.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at 2100 South Lamar Boulevard at Marquis Chevron. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
