Magee, MS (March 24, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Magee on Thursday morning, March 24.
According to Magee Police, the accident happened in the afternoon hours on MS-541. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles, identified only as an SUV, was struck so forcefully that it went off the side of the road. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Both drivers involved in the accident were injured. The parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for about 45 minutes. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
