Oxford, MS (March 25, 2022) – Around 2:45 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, March 25, a car accident with injuries took place in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened near the local Abner’s at 430 South Lamar Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
