Oxford, MS (March 25, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a car crash that took place on a roadway in Oxford on Friday morning, March 25.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened around 4 p.m. on Courthouse Square. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
