Oxford, MS (April 7, 2022) – On Thursday evening, April 7, a car accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened around 5:20 p.m. at 224 Bramlett Boulevard near the Oxford Middle School. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several local responders, including Oxford paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
