Oxford, MS (May 7, 2022) – An automobile accident that took place in Oxford on Saturday evening sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. Just after 5 p.m., on May 7, the Oxford Police Department, firefighters, and EMS all responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Old Taylor Road.
According to reports from the Oxford Police Department, a collision between vehicles occurred on Old Taylor Road during the early evening hours. The accident caused some delays in the area as the police and firefighters worked clear the scene.
EMS responded to treat injured victims at the scene of the accident. Those in need of further care were transported to area hospitals. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Oxford Police Department.
