Oxford, MS (June 5, 2022) – A car accident happened in Oxford on the morning of June 5. Sources say the incident occurred at around 10:55 p.m.
According to police, the crash took place on McElroy Drive. Responders were sent to the scene shortly after the incident occurred to help those involved.
Reports indicate that one or more people required emergency assistance at the wreck site. How many people were transported to the hospital was not reported.
Delays in traffic were observed in the area while police and other responders worked to secure the scene. Local drivers were forced to use different routes of travel for the time being.
