Oxford, MS (June 8, 2022) – At around 1:20 p.m. on June 7, police and other responders were sent to the scene of a car crash in Oxford. The accident took place at around 1:20 p.m. on South Lamar Boulevard.
The wreck happened in the 400 block of South Lamar Boulevard near Abner’s. The total number of vehicles involved and how it took place remains unknown at this time.
At least one person suffered injuries in the collision. Responders rendered emergency medical aid to those with injuries at the crash scene. Whether anyone required transportation to a local hospital has not been reported.
The roadway was closed while responders worked in the area. Authorities asked local motorists to use different routes of travel for the time that the scene was active.
