Mississippi Vehicle Accidents
Car crashes cause more injuries and death in the United States than other types of accidents. Statistics show that approximately 17 thousand car accidents happen every single day in the United States. Per day, about 7,500 people are hurt in these collisions, and when you or someone you love has been hurt in a crash, it is important to know the cause of it.
Victims are blindsided by the injuries that come crashing into their lives and sometimes change them forever. If an auto collision has caused you loss and suffering, an experienced auto accident attorney can help you get on the path to recovery.
The main goal of an auto accident attorney is to help you figure out who or what caused your wreck so you can get the financial compensation you need to recover. Unfortunately, those victimized in auto accidents are often forced to pay outstanding medical bills, wage loss, and vehicle repairs. A lawyer will help you financially recover after you’ve been seriously hurt in a car crash. Some of the main reasons car wrecks occur in the US are:
- Driver negligence/error. Driver error is demonstrated in numerous ways. Generally, a negligent driver acts irresponsibly while behind the wheel by texting, talking on the phone, speeding, or disobeying traffic laws.
- Road conditions. Potholes, broken roads, missing signs, bad weather, missing guardrails, and debris in the road may all increase the chances of an auto collision taking place.
- Malfunctioning vehicle. Vehicle malfunctions can happen with steering, brakes, ignition switches, tires, and more. When a vehicle malfunctions while in motion, serious and devastating accidents can occur.
If you or someone you love has been hurt in a crash that you believe was caused by another driver’s negligent actions, you may be entitled to collect financial compensation. Compensation can help you financially recover after a severe collision has imposed numerous financial, physical, and emotional burdens on your life. The median cost of making a full physical recovery from a serious auto collision in the US is about $65,000. The average American simply does not have this kind of money to dish out all at once.
