Oxford, MS (June 20, 2022) – Local police were sent to the scene of a car crash that happened in Oxford on Monday morning, June 20. At approximately 9:15 a.m, police and other responders were sent to the scene of the wreck to render aid to the involved parties.
The collision happened in the southbound lanes of MS-7, sources said. What led to the accident remains under investigation by police.
Emergency crews were seen at the crash site helping those with injuries. One or more victims were treated for injuries at the scene. The total number of injured victims who required emergency transportation to the hospital remains unknown at this time.
Traffic was delayed near the crash site for some time while emergency crews were at the scene. Local motorists were urged to find alternative travel routes.
