Oxford, MS (June 28, 2022) – A car accident happened in Oxford on June 27. At approximately 5:35 p.m., an unspecified number of vehicles collided, resulting in injuries and traffic delays.
Sources say the collision occurred in the 700 block of Sisk Avenue near Wendy’s. Responders including emergency medical crews, police, and fire crews were seen helping involved parties at the crash site.
Currently, what led up to the wreck remains unknown. One or more people were sent to the hospital due to their injuries.
At this time, authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
