Oxford, MS (July 06, 2022) – A collision involving an unspecified number of vehicles caused injuries to those involved and the closure of a section of Jackson Avenue West in Oxford, on Wednesday, July 6th.
According to a source with knowledge of the incident, the crash occurred at about 6:35 p.m. in the 1900th block of Jackson Avenue West, in front of Subway Sandwich Shop.
First responders and paramedics were called to the scene where they rendered pre-hospital medical care and transportation to several injured patients.
The names of those who were injured and their post-collision medical conditions have not been released.
The cause of the accident has not been divulged as it is still under investigation.
