Vicksburg, MS (July 17, 2022) – An auto accident reported on Saturday, July 16 in Vicksburg resulted in injuries. The wreck happened at about 3:30 p.m., sources said.
Authorities indicate the crash happened between two vehicles on US-61 near Iowa Boulevard in front of Wal-Mart. They collided with one another for reasons still being investigated by police.
Emergency crews were requested at the scene. At least one person was treated for injuries and transported to a local hospital for further care.
Currently, the names and current health conditions of the injured victims have not been released. Police continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
