Hattiesburg, MS (July 17, 2022) – A man now identified as Harold Sumrall, age 76, was killed in a fatal crash in Hattiesburg on Sunday, July 10. At approximately 12:30 p.m., responders were sent to the scene on US-98.
Reports show the crash happened on US-98 near Cross Creek Parkway for reports of a severe car crash. A 2013 Ford Escape collided with a 1986 Plymouth. A 2016 Chevrolet was also involved in the collision.
Two people were hospitalized as a result of the crash. One of them, identified as Sumrall, was killed in the accident.
Police officials in Hattiesburg continue to investigate the details of the accident.
