Oxford, MS (July 24, 2022) – A car wreck happened in Oxford on July 24 that was issued an emergency response. Just before 5:00 p.m, responders were sent to the scene of a crash on Merchants Drive.
The incident was reported in the 400 block of Merchants Drive near Ross Dress for Less. The number of vehicles involved in the collision has not been reported at this time.
Police, EMTs, and fire crews were dispatched to the crash site to render aid to injured victims. Paramedics treated those with injuries on-site and transported extensively injured patients to local hospitals for further care.
No one involved has been identified at this time.
