Vicksburg, MS (August 1, 2022) – At approximately 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 30, a car accident occurred in Vicksburg. Emergency responders were sent to the scene to help those involved.
The accident took place on Highway 61 near Culkin Road. Witnesses said at least one person involved in the accident was taken from the scene by ambulance. They suffered from injuries of an unknown magnitude.
One southbound lane of Highway 61 was closed while emergency crews worked at the scene. What led up to the crash is being investigated by area authorities.
