Oxford, MS (August 6, 2022) – An auto accident was reported in Oxford on the evening of August 5. Just before 8:00 p.m., responders were sent to the scene of a crash on Thacker Road.
The incident was reported on Thacker Road near Exxon for reasons still under police investigation. One or more people were hurt in the collision.
Emergency medical personnel were seen helping injured victims at the scene. At this time, the extent of the injuries suffered in the accident remains unclear.
Traffic was delayed in the area while responders worked at the crash site. Drivers were urged to use alternative routes of travel for the time being.
