Oxford, MS (August 15, 2022) – A severe auto collision occurred in Oxford on Monday, August 15. Emergency responders were sent to the crash site to render aid and investigate the details of the accident.
Paramedics were seen at the crash scene located on South Lamar Boulevard a short time after the incident occurred. Sources say the wreck happened shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Two or more vehicles were involved in an accident in the area that ended in injuries for at least one person. Those with injuries were transported to area medical centers for treatment.
Traffic was delayed in the area while authorities worked at the scene. Local drivers were urged to utilize alternate routes for the time being.
Nothing further has been reported.
