Oxford, MS (August 18, 2022) – On the morning of August 17, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a traffic accident in Oxford. The incident occurred just before 10:00 a.m., sources said.
Responders were dispatched to the crash site, located on US-278, to help the injured parties. Currently, the extent of their injuries has not been reported.
One or more people were sent to the hospital with injuries. Traffic was delayed near the crash site while responders worked to secure the area.
At this time, people in the area continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. Our thoughts are with those involved as we hope for their full recovery.
