Vaughan, MS (August 22, 2022) – Two drivers lost their lives after a head-on collision near Vaughan. The fatal wreck occurred when both vehicles were traveling toward one another on an interstate at around 12:21 a.m. on August 22.
Reports show that the accident occurred when Medley J. Morgan, age 24, was headed south on I-55 in a 2013 Honda CR-V. Morgan collided head-on with a 2021 Volkswagen Jetta headed north, operated by Jirah L. Brewer, 29.
Both Brewer and Morgan lost their lives in the collision. They were pronounced deceased on-site by paramedics. At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
