Oxford, MS (August 27, 2022) – Emergency responders were sent to the scene of a car crash that happened in Oxford. The wreck was reported to officials in the area at around 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24.
Reports show the incident took place on South 18th Street. Two or more vehicles were involved in the crash which resulted in injuries.
People who were extensively injured were loaded into ambulances and transported to area hospitals for treatment. The names of the injured victims have not been released at this time.
Traffic was delayed in the area while responders worked at the scene. The roadway was blocked for some time on the afternoon of August 24 while police and paramedics were present.
