Leake County, MS (September 9, 2022) – A car crash happened in Leake County on the morning of September 8. At approximately 8:42 a.m., responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision on MS 35.
Local emergency crews including paramedics, police, and firefighters were seen helping injured victims at the crash site. One or more people required medical care on-site.
Currently, how many people were injured in the crash has not been reported.
The roadway was blocked for some time while police worked to determine the cause of the incident and EMS treated injured patients.
Authorities in Leake County are still working to figure out how the accident occurred.
