Meridian, MS (September 10, 2022) – One man died following an accident with another driver on Highway 80 in Lauderdale County on Monday, September 5th.
The crash occurred at about 2:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 80 in Meridian when, according to a representative from the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a westbound 2018 Ford Fusion crashed into a Massey Ferguson tractor.
The driver of the tractor, 74-year-old local man David Gaddis, died during the impact.
The driver of the Ford, 33-year-old Cassie Warbington, also from Meridian, had no reported injuries caused by the crash.
No further information has been released.
