Oxford, MS (September 11, 2022) – A car crash was reported in Oxford on the morning of September 11 that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 11:45 a.m., responders were sent to the scene of an accident on Jackson Avenue West.
At least one person sustained injuries in the crash that occurred near Orange Theory Fitness for reasons still being investigated by police. Emergency crews were seen in the 1800 block of Jackson Avenue West shortly before 12:00 noon.
Traffic was delayed in the area while emergency responders worked to secure the roadway and restore regular traffic in the area. At this time, police in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
