Natchez, MS (September 25, 2022) – A fatal car accident happened in Natchez on the evening of September 25. At approximately 9:00 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the crash site to render aid to the involved parties.
Reports show that the incident occurred on Highway 61 near Kingston Road. Christopher Towell, 54, of Louisiana, was headed north on the highway in a 2012 Ford Expedition when he collided with a 2007 Dodge Journey.
The driver of the journey was identified as Virginia Malone, 56, of Centreville. She was attempting to turn onto Kingston Road when she was involved in a crash with Towell.
Malone suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. She was pronounced deceased at the wreck site by medical professionals.
Police are investigating the details of the accident. No other details have been reported concerning the accident at this time.
