Oxford, MS (October 1, 2022) – A car accident reported in Oxford on the morning of October 1 required an emergency response. At around 9:35 a.m., multiple responders were dispatched to the scene to help the involved individuals.
Reports concerning the wreck indicate that it happened on South Lamar Boulevard near Marcos Pizza. At least one person suffered injuries in the crash.
EMTs were seen helping the injured parties at the crash site. At least one person was transported from the scene to a local hospital for treatment.
The names of the involved parties have not been released at this time. Delays in traffic ensued near the wreck site for an extended period of time on the morning of October 1.
