Oxford, MS (October 9, 2022) – A motor vehicle collision took place in the Oxford area that resulted in injuries. On October 8, the police and firefighters were called to the site of a crash on Merchants Drive.
At around 2:10 p.m., a crash involving vehicles blocked the roadway in the 400 block of Merchants Drive near Ross Dress for Less. The crash caused delays in the area.
The Oxford Police Department and area firefighters closed off multiple lanes of the road as they worked to provide assistance at the site of the accident.
At least one party who was involved in the crash was provided transportation to a local medical facility.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation by the Oxford Police Department.
