Jackson, MS (October 14, 2022) – On the morning of October 14, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in Jackson. Shortly after 9:00 a.m., the auto accident happened on Lakeland Drive.
Crews including police, EMTs, and firefighters were seen helping injured victims in the area. The wreck happened in the northbound lanes of Lakeland Drive just past Ridgewood Road and before the Pearl River Bridge.
An unknown number of vehicles crashed in the area and injured those involved. Paramedics rendered aid at the scene and police investigated the details of the wreck.
Delays in traffic ensued in the area while emergency personnel was present. Authorities in Jackson are still working to figure out what caused the wreck to occur.
