Jasper County, MS (October 27, 2022) – Two people lost their lives in a fatal head-on crash that happened in Jasper County. Authorities stated that the accident happened at approximately 7:00 a.m.
Information provided by local officials states that the incident occurred on County Road 39 between Vossburg and Paulding. The two people who lost their lives were headed west when they crashed with a vehicle being driven by a woman on her way to school.
The injured female was transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries she sustained in the accident. Helicopters were called to the scene to transport one of the injured parties, however, the victim lost his life before he was able to be transported.
The identities of those with injuries were not reported. Authorities in Jasper County continue to investigate the details of the accident.
