Starkville, MS (October 27, 2022) – A fatal head-on accident left one man dead in Monroe County. The wreck happened on the afternoon of Monday, October 24.
Responders were seen working at the wreck site, located on Center Hill Road west of Cockerham Road. Christopher Brock, 40, was in a Ford Mustang that was struck by a Ford Pickup head-on.
What caused the incident to happen is being investigated by area authorities. Brock was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Both drivers involved were airlifted to a hospital in Tupelo. Their current health conditions have not been reported.
