Picayune, MS (November 1, 2022) – A man from Mississippi lost his life in a three-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday afternoon, October 30. At around 11:30 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the fatal accident.
Reports show that the wreck happened on Highway 43 South in Pearl River County. A 2017 Jaguar passenger vehicle driven by Donald C. Schneider, 86, from Picayune, was headed south on Highway 43 when it collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Dewanna Flynt, age 65, of Franklinton, LA, as well as a 2015 Ford Taurus driven by Ruthanna Hinton, 65, of Gulfport.
Both Flynt and Hinton were headed north on Highway 43 at the time of the collision.
What caused the accident to occur has not been reported to the police at this time. Donald C. Schneider sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
No other details have been reported. It is unclear whether anyone else sustained injuries in the accident.
