Vicksburg, MS (November 1, 2022) – One person lost their life in a car crash that happened Sunday, October 30, in Vicksburg. The victim was identified as a 17-year-old male.
A motor vehicle crash was reported to police in Vicksburg just after 1:00 a.m. It happened in the 900 block of Blossom Lane near Kavanaugh Drive, according to information provided by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Police arrived at the scene to find two injured males inside a vehicle that had collided with a tree. One of the victims was suffering from a gunshot wound. They were pronounced deceased on-site.
The passenger of the vehicle, also a juvenile, was transported to a local hospital with injuries believed to have been caused by the car crash. The identity of that victim was not released.
Police continue to investigate the details of the accident. No further information has been reported at this time.
