Williamsville, MS (November 9, 2022) – A serious auto crash happened in Williamsville on the morning of November 9. Shortly after 9:00 a.m., dispatchers received a call concerning the accident on Interstate 55.
According to information provided by local officials, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 near Natchez Trace Parkway and Interstate 220. An unknown number of cars crashed in the area and ended in injuries for those involved.
Emergency responders were sent to the wreck site shortly after it occurred in order to render aid and investigate the details of the incident. At this time, the cause of the crash is still under police investigation.
